Quality Assurance at Essex St. Cheese

We work directly. We are in regular, direct contact with our cheese makers and agers. We ensure that each cheese we import is produced in a way that meets or exceeds the U.S. food safety regulations for public health protection.

We collaborate. We work with our suppliers to educate them on the latest and best food safety practices. We regularly reassess our approach in the light of changing regulations to evaluate how to improve.

Recall Procedure

We do everything in our power to prevent problems before they occur, but sometimes accidents happen. Essex prepares for such problems by establishing clear recall procedures.
